Comments not working

It seems that the last post was so big that it doesn’t allow comments. Thanks, Cork and Helga, for your emailed comments and for letting me know about the problem Anyone who wants to leave a comment for the last post can leave it here. Thanks for your patience. After working more than 30 years with computers I know there is always some way around their shortcomings.

    G’Day Mike and Petra,
I got a returned post today that made me check your site – it was one of those posts filled with symbols instead of a message and it also had an attachment with a zip content – so I didn’t open it.
It appears you had a problem.

I hope you get this OK.
As always – my best wishes are as if they are in your cart travelling with you.

Hello again, Mike & Petra! Haven’t forgotten the soup lunch shared at campground in Six Lakes, MI – was checking your progress up til Thanksgiving – then no chance til today. Wow, I am still amazed by your journey – and your tenacity! Can easily see why you’ve thought of alternatives at times. My feet hurt for you and my bones are cold inside while you are in Portugal! What sights you are seeing – so many people – so many memories. Now that you’re so far along, I can see you finishing, so matter the odds you face. May God continue blessing you with the courage and patience you need!

    Hi Mike,

Happy Birthday from your California friends. We just arrived in Kingman (by car) on our way to Scottsdale. I had to check in with you two. Take care and keep thinking positive. Give Petra a hug for us.
    Helga and Alex.
