Where are your comments?

We have not heard from many of you out there recently. How are you doing with the new year in your life? Yes, we have been a bit quiet here too. But we have been contemplating the rain and how to keep between the drops. We have finally had a couple sunny days in a row. We are in Mealhada, one day north of Coimbra and four days south of Porto tonight. And we are looking forward to a third day of sun tomorrow. So where are you and what are you up to these days? We’d love to hear from you. Every comment is an encouragement.

    Hi Mike & Petra,
Yes you have been quite. I finally received an email from you yesterday so I know you are still out there.
I put the major town in Portugal on the cell phone weather so I would have an idea how you were doing. I figured you didn’t want to get you computer wet and wouldn’t be doing must web surfing in the rain. If you check back you didn’t do much when you were in the US either.
Yes I keep track with you all the time ever when I have to move all that snow we are getting here in Illinois.
Be well and keep up the good work

    Hi Mike and Petra,
Congratulation on making it to Portugal. I check on you every day and love your up dates and your pictures. Also our prayers are with you. I have writen to you but do not know if you received my mail. Yesterday I wrote a comment and now I am checking in on you again but no #3 which would have been us. Well no problem maybe the 2nd time works. The most important thing is that you to stay dry and warm as a bad winter storm is hitting Europe including Spain and you are just north/west of it.Take care and god bless.

    Hi Mike & Petra,

I have only emailed you once near the beginning of your trip when I saw your started from Paso (I’m in Morro Bay–you may not remember me) Anyway, I’m so excited to see that you’re so much closer to your goal. I told a friend about you and she’s excited to try something similar. Great to see your progress and all the beautiful pictures!

    Hello Mike & Petra,
Perhaps cold weather does cause one to keep from projecting warm thoughts towards others who certainly deserve them. At least the temperature today is above zero and the day is tolerable. Not so much for walking as most areas are ice covered due to the rain on Christmas Day. That really wasn’t a nice present. You are in our thoughts & I wish you the very best as always. Take care love jim

Jeanette and i wish the two of you a safe journeyand we enjoy checking in on your progress.
I hope your luck gets better in finding either warmer weather or warmer billets.
I suprised Jeanette with a note book computer like yours so she can bring it on trips with us.
We were tickled to read that Petra couldn’t part with that doll stroler and sent it to her Moms.
If i had it to do over again i would have spent a day walking with you folks after i dropped you off on the erie canal in dewitt.
We are using a tread mill and bike trainer to get in shape for a longer bicycle trip this july.
