Walk with us

There are many ways you can take part in our pilgrimage, "walk" with us, share our days on the road to Jerusalem. Here are a few things that others have done to take part. They have:

• Wished us well when they saw us.
• Stopped and visited with us along the road.
• Physically walked with us.
• Invited us to stay with them for a night.
• Bought our lunch or dinner.
• Donated something to help us financially.
• Given us something to deliver in Jerusalem when we get there.

All of these are things you can also do.

Every one of you who has wished us well (or ill!) is in a manner of speaking waking with us. We carry you in our hearts and thoughts.

When you find yourself driving past us you can join our walk by stopping and talking with us a while. We're always ready to trade stories with anyone on the road or in a motel at night.

You can physically walk the road with us whether it is for a few hours or a day as some have already done. You can also be the first to walk several days with us. Just talk with us on the road or click here and contact us. We'll let you know what to do.

So far we have been camping and staying in motels and with friends and acquaintances we have met along the road. Our Route Graphics page and its support pages show our approximate pathway. If you are somewhere along our route and would like to join us on our walk by inviting us to stay with you, we would be thankful for a bed, a place to set our tent, or a porch to lay our sleeping bag for a night. And we would enjoy sharing the stories of our pilgrimage with you as well as hearing your stories.

We appreciate all donations from everyone who supports us on our path to Jerusalem. We have created a Thanks page for all who have helped us in a special way up to now. We will continue to honor those who support us with this page. When we get to Jerusalem we will say special prayers to all listed there.

Maybe you would like us to carry something special to Jerusalem for you. Maybe you have made a personal pilgrimage promise in your life and cannot personally fulfill it. Maybe we can go in your place. Giving a donation would be a way to support that task you would like us to do.

You can give us a donation as you see us. You can give it to us by sending a check to the address on our Contact us page. You could also give a donation to our PayPal account.

This walk has become a walk of two ambassadors of peace and dreams. Everyone we have met has been so peaceful. We have reminded many of their dreams. Thanks so much for walking with us in whatever way you do, for helping and encouraging us to continue.

How do you find and contact us?

Where will we be on any given day? We have been doing a good job at keeping our Stops page up to date regularly. It includes the date and location of our latest recorded position. If you want to actually walk with us email or call us a few days in advance (the more the better because at times we may be more than a few days away from the internet or out of cell phone range). We'll coordinate the details with you. And of course, if you are just driving by, you can surprise us.
